So finally. After posting several pictures of Mel and Angel and you guys having no clue in hell who they are, I decided it would be best to offer insight into something other than HAVEN that controls my life. D:
I started the comic back in 2002, with Mel (same name, all this time XDD) and Angel (formerly known as Hukeiki) as the main characters. Along with them came Ryan (Rian), Charlotte (Shikura), and Ashton (Ashita).
I got over my green/blue eyes blonde/red hair yet somehow still Japanese? phase really fast.
The original title of the comic was Dragon Ryders, but then someone had to come along and make a book of that same (or pretty darn close to the same) title now didn't they? Jesus.
Some questions I know will get asked so best to answer now - +Ashton is not Ian with his hair dyed a darker shade. Although, I'm sure they could switch places and no one would ever notice. +Angelo is Mexican with Albinism. OmgNo!mascara. +Charlotte is half Black, half Korean (it explains the love for dancing... and the tacky jewelry) +That is not an omg!error on Ryan's eye colouring. He has Heterochromia. Hey. He was going to be a boring character otherwise. I had to make him -unique- ... no one likes Ryan. XD
... I love these characters. I wish I paid more attention to them. ...But I love HAVEN more. I should do one of these for HAVEN. SNAP. <333

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
